If you take a bath in this bathtub, you will die soon. At the end of life you might be taken care of at this part of the hospital. I want to give you a wonderful light while you enjoy the warm water. When the sun shines through the window late in the afternoon, the colors and shapes of my window will fill the room.
My window is inspired by lens flare, a photographic phenomenon. The lens in the camera is built by glass parts and when the sun shines into it from certain angles, the light bounces between the glassparts and refract the light into colours and shapes that can give magic even to the most boring image. Like the view from this window with boring houses and a parking lot. I have used mouth blown glass, copper and UV glew for this work and it’s mounted between the insulation glasses in the existing window.
